Various Artists

December 3, 2002
In October of 2001, WB aired a tribute concert known as "Come Together: A Night For John Lennon's Words & Music," in which Wainwright assisted Sean Lennon and Moby in performing two Beatles covers. At New York City's Radio City Music Hall, "This Boy" was performed with Sean Lennon, and "Across the Universe" alongside Sean and Moby. A DVD was released on December 3, 2002 by Geneon [Pioneer].

Rufus covered a studio version of "Across the Universe" with Sean Lennon on October 9, 2001, which happened to be Sean Lennon's birthday, as well as John Lennon's. Two different studio versions exist; one is found on the I Am Sam soundtrack, and the other is a bonus track on the re-issued version of Poses.

DVD Back Cover:
"John Lennon's music and visions of universal peace have continued to inspire the world even after his passing. This special tribute brought prominent musical artists together on October 2nd, 2001, and was full of prayer and hope in the wake of the recent and tragic events of September 11th, with proceeds going toward healing efforts for the City of New York. Hosted by Academy Award-winner Kevin Spacey, this all-star concert was broadcast live on the WB Television Network and Turner Network Television from Radio City Music Hall."
