Peter Gzowski could be heard across the airwaves of CBC Radio's "Morningside" from 1982 to 1997. His program, titled "Gzowski in Conversation," showcased some of the best Canadian musicians, giving Canadian citizens a sense of pride about their heritage. This compilation album was put together with the best Canadian artists in mind, consisting of live in-studio performances and other memorable moments.
Rufus can be heard singing in "Talk to Me of Mendocino" with his mother, Kate McGarrigle, and sister, Martha Wainwright. It should also be noted that Martha's song, "Year of the Dragon," also holds a slot on the album.
