A bonus CD titled, 4 Chansons Inédites, was included with the foreign release of Rufus Wainwright in France. Appearing on this promotional bonus CD is "A Bit of You," "Moulin Rouge," "Banks of the Wabash," and "Le Roi d'Ys." "Moulin Rouge" is the only track that is exclusive to this mini-album (heard entirely in French), but it was later redone with an English chorus for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack ("Complainte de la Butte"). "A Bit of You" also appears on the Japanese release of Rufus Wainwright, while "Banks of the Wabash" and "Le Roi d'Ys" appear on the soundtrack to The Myth of Fingerprints.
Now and then, this CD will appear on auction sites, but it is not very widely circulated to the disappointment of many fans and collectors.
Also, note the spelling mistake of "Wainwright" on the back! |
