Rufus contributes two tracks to the soundtrack for The Myth of Fingerprints. "Le Roi d'Ys" is a libretto from Édouard Lalo's opera of the same title. It was recorded by Pierre Marchand at Wildsky Studios in Montréal, courtesy of DreamWorks Records. "Banks of the Wabash," written by Paul Dresser, is performed by Wainwright, Jon Brion and Ethan Johns. This track was recorded by Ethan Johns at The Hook Studio in Los Angeles, courtesy of DreamWorks Records.
